RPE is committed to helping our clients reduce their energy consumption, reduce voltage optimization, and become more environmentally responsible by reducing their carbon footprint.

The RPE OmniPower™ Power Factor Correction System will be tailor-made to your company’s load characteristics and specifications to provide our customers with reliable and sustainable power solutions. RPE will install our power solutions with minimal power interruptions, provide around the clock monitoring, conduct maintenance, and perform upgrades and maintenance as required.

Since 2015, RPE’s OmniPower™ Power Factor Correction System has helped customers save 8%-18% on their company power bill. From the power pole to the final build, RPE will design a solution that helps your facility operate at top power efficiency.

History

RPE was started with a simple idea about clean energy savings. 

What if we could save money for our customers in a clean way? With our team’s extensive background in engineering, we combined our knowledge and expertise to optimally implement innovative solutions since 2015. As a responsible company with a long-term outlook, we set out to create a new system to make clean energy savings a reality. Our OmniPower™ Power Factor Correction System is a product that saves money for our customers, and also reduces their carbon footprint, saves power, and keeps the grid clean.

 

Executive Team

Frank Spano

Frank J. Spano is the President & CEO at RPE located in Hackensack, New Jersey with responsibility for research and development, marketing, operations, corporate resources, domestic sales and services.

Prior to joining RPE, Frank worked in executive level positions for DataNet2000, Inc. and DataNet, Inc. Notable is his 12 years as President & CEO for DataNet, Inc., a division of Wilcox & Gibbs on the NYSE where he accomplished his sales goal of $100M. Under Frank leadership, DataNet, Inc. grew from $30M to $100M in sales bringing the company public on the NYSE.

In his current role, Frank leads his team to develop new products for the power energy business with a focus on savings; meet demanding targets, continuously improve profits/productivity; develop strategic alliances; establish standard setting initiatives and create a stable business environment. To achieve this, Frank uses his ability to develop the expertise necessary to support business units; create a high performance culture; persuade investors; motivate and lead a diverse technical team; sell innovative ideas and communicate ambitious strategy.

Frank Spano’s greatest strengths are his technical knowledge and leadership. Equally as important, Frank enjoys a challenge, particularly achieving the sales growth essential to achieving the corporate goals.

These strengths are reflected in Frank’s most recent project. Under his direction, RPE launched the Automatic Power Control System, resulting in energy savings from twenty to forty percent.

Frank gained his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Fairleigh Dickerson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Additional qualifications include T3 certificate in Engineering and Electronic Technology from RCA Institute of Technology in New York City.

In 1988 Frank Spano received the Proctor & Gamble Award from MCI for DataNet’s role in implementing the Proctor & Gamble’s worldwide network. He was also awarded the SITA Award for helping build the largest privately held telecommunications global network by Telenex.

Despite his demanding career as President & CEO, Frank makes time to be involved with community organizations. He has done voluntary work for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Roger Bogsted

Roger Bogsted has over 25 years of experience as an executive running organizations and operations in both the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience in media relations, field operations and project management. Roger graduated from Montclair State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Sociology. He later completed the graduate program in Forensic Science at George Washington University, while working full-time on Capitol Hill for the Dean of the Long Island Congressional Caucus, Rep. Norman F. Lent.

He received national recognition as commissioner of the highest rated consumer affairs department in the country. Roger was interviewed by every major TV network in the New York metropolitan area during his tenure as Nassau County Commissioner of Consumer Affairs. He was featured numerous times on national news programs such as Dateline, Primetime and Good Morning America among others. He has served as Vice President of Freedom Torch Consulting as a majority shareholder for over 30 years. He is involved in the thoroughbred business as an owner and breeder for many years. Roger Bogsted was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2009.

Dan Simon

Daniel Simon joined RPE with 40 years of experience at ConEdison as the Emergency and Environmental Manager with responsibilities of addressing system emergency conditions including the response to the 9.11 attacks in NYC. He was also the Incident Commander of 9.11 and mutual aid IC throughout the country.

Richard Sweatt

Richard’s overall vision is in defining business and market segments to obtain company growth through creating business and product strategies and in leading the execution of technology, product and market development teams and programs which will enable the company to enter the identified market segments in a competitive and profitable manner. Richard has vast knowledge and experience in both advanced technology research and collaborative customer solutions for the areas of network security, multimedia communications, and internetworking interoperability devices. He has held multiple Executive level positions in Sales and Marketing for The APM Foundation, Amity Systems, and NetCalibrate. Richard has held several Executive level positions in Business Development for NetScreen and Verilink. He has held multiple Executive level positions in Product Management for CloudShield, SynOptics, Vitalink, and NCR Comten.

Richard’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from San Jose State University, an Associate of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from College of San Mateo, and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from National University. He has held multiple leadership positions with industry standards organizations like IETF, IEEE, ATM Forum, and MPLS Forum. Richard has held multiple Board positions with RSpeed Networks, Le Wiz Communications, FBC, Broadband Exchange, Broadband Year, and Community Ministries International.

Steve Lalino

Steve Lalino is a dynamic and accomplished professional currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Alliances for Royal Power Energy Inc. With his extensive experience and expertise, Steve plays a crucial role in the company’s success by raising capital to support daily operations, acquiring capital equipment, and driving future growth.
 
Before joining Royal Power Energy, Steve was the founder of International Commodities Management Constants Corporation. In this role, he led and directed the company’s efforts in all aspects of trading commodities. With his sharp business acumen and strategic vision, Steve successfully navigated the complexities of the commodities market, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
 
Additionally, Steve has held the prestigious position of President and CEO of Emerald Waste Industries LTD, a Jamaican-based company. During his tenure, he spearheaded initiatives to revolutionize waste handling and processing systems throughout Jamaica. Through his visionary leadership, Steve brought innovative solutions to the forefront, significantly improving waste management practices and contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
 
With a proven track record of driving business success and fostering strategic partnerships, Steve Lalino is a true asset to Royal Power Energy Inc.
